Project Description:
The project study area covers two provinces: Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Saraburi provinces. The total distance is 72 km approximately. When significant data is collected and analyzed, the navigation potential enhancement will be taken into practice. The details are as follows:
1. Constructing bank protection dike in critical erosion areas and developing bank protection system in non-critical erosion areas
2. Dredging for deeper and wider river course and supporting navigation conveniences
3. Preparing berth, dolphins and facilities
4. Designing and improving river bend for better safe sight distance and appropriate river width
5. Developing the navigation area enabling vessels to give way, waiting for the other to pass through or even to overtake the other
6. Designing community-approach navigation signs
7. Drafting law and regulations for navigation in the Pasak River
8. Preparing practical management for vessel traffic
